Founded in 1882 at the heart of Tokyo, WASEDA University is recognized as one of the most international universities in Japan. In the Waseda Summer Session, we emphasize the following five program features:

Every year, we welcome over 150 students from more than 20 countries. In Japan, a unique island nation with its own distinct culture, we hope participants will strive together in a diverse and stimulating environment.

Located about 15 minutes from Shinjuku, Japan’s most vibrant entertainment district, the program offers unparalleled convenience. Through the program, explore Tokyo’s vibrant cityscape and immerse yourself in its dynamic energy.
